With the US presidential election approaching, ̨ÍåÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ (DMU) Leicester is excited to announce that two former US politicians will be visiting to discuss the election results and their potential impact on the UK. This unique opportunity is part of DMU’s annual Congress to Campus event, taking place Thursday 21 November between 6 – 9pm and is open to students, staff, and the community of Leicester.
On Tuesday 5 November, either Republican Donald Trump or Democrat Kamala Harris will secure the US presidency for the next four years. Following the election, former members of Congress Cheri Bustos and Bob Dold—representing Democratic and Republican perspectives—will join us at DMU to explore how the new US administration might shape key global issues.
