For many, university is the first step on the career ladder. To help give new students a greater understanding of the resources available to them through DMU, the award-winning DMU Careers Team is inviting people to drop by the Careers Hub (Hugh Aston Building 0.82) throughout the Welcome Festival.
From 10am-3pm, students will be able to chat to the careers team about the resources and services available to them during and beyond their studies here.
This is the perfect opportunity for new students to network, ask questions and start planning their next steps.
Earlier in 2024, the team were named the best careers service in the country at the targetjobs National Graduate Recruitment Awards.
Interview prep, guaranteed work experience opportunities, CV reviews and personalised career support are among the many services the DMU Careers Team offers.
There will also be free pizza for students between midday and 1pm on Monday 23 to Thursday 26 September on a first-come, first-serve basis.
