Bethan Siddaway is a dance artist and educator, who first arrived at DMU in 2018 to study Dance. Bethan showed resilience and determination when injury meant she had to defer her course for a year, but she successfully graduated in 2021. This perseverance set the stage for a thriving career in dance and education.
She has gone on to teach and inspire others with roles at Autin Dance Theatre, the Royal Academy of Dance, One Dance UK, and FABRIC. As a freelance artist, she also performed and trained with renowned companies such as Elementz, Far From The Norm, Just Us Dance Theatre, MARSHON, and The Capsule.
Bethan returns to campus to share her journey, the lessons learned at DMU, and how her time in Leicester has fuelled her passion for dance and teaching.
