Joining DMU in 2019 to study Medical Science, Becca McDonald was inspired by the commitment of healthcare workers –including her own mother – that were grappling with the early uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic. Longing to be on the front lines and helping patients in need, she decided to switch courses and enrol in Adult Nursing.
Through a mix of full-time placements, theoretical and practical teaching sessions in our state-of-the-art facilities Becca was able to master all the core skills nurses need in such a high-pressure and demanding environment.
Having returned to campus to continue her studies, Becca was able to see how healthcare systems in Dubai operated through the incredible popular DMU Global initiative.
