Description

This seminar, was lead by Dr Eric Goodyer from DMU's DIGITS research group, the aim was to bring people together to discuss key challenges facing our towns and cities. Our panel of transport experts, Chris Shaw (Cenex), Robin Pointon (Go-Travel-Solutions), Hannah Wakley (Friends of the Earth) and Andy Salkeld (Leicester City Council), guided the delegates through a narrative picture of the future of urban transport systems focusing on:

•Better use of existing infrastructure - which includes congestion reduction and traffic management

•Air Quality and other social and health impact

•Using the transport infrastructure to support local economic objectives

•Modal Shift and Social Inclusion

The event was held on Wednesday 13th March at ̨ÍåÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ in the Queens Building 0.12 at 18.00hrs.
