Come and celebrate the launch of DMU Pride by attending the Pride Day Launch! Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education and Equalities Professor Susan Orr will introduce the event and the LGBTQ+ Staff Network Chairs will say a few words about this annual occasion. They will be followed by a drag performance by the amazing Liv with music and a quiz; whilst being surrounded by colourful stalls representing the Pride Flag capturing the essence behind each stripe. Welcome guests from services and organisations across Leicester who are dedicated to supporting the LGBTQ+ community shall be attending and would love to speak with you. There will be fun, laughter and a sense of love and community to all LGBTQ+ people and our allies. A joyous occasion to reflect on our histories, show love to those who need it, and share kindness to each other. No booking required, just turn up on the day, stay as long as you wish and enjoy!
